Last Night in College Basketball: Rejuvenated Kansas Upsets Undefeated Iowa State

Grayson Grove - Small output off bench Grove logged five points (2-3 FG, 1-2 FT), one rebound, one block and two steals across 16 minutes during Tuesday's 78-75 loss to Wisconsin.

Impact Grove offered minimal production off the bench for the Gophers, but that's been the norm for the freshman forward. He averages 3.2 points and 2.3 rebounds across 14.6 minutes. While he's getting good experience, don't expect a big outing from Grove any time soon.

Bobby Durkin - Held in check by Badgers Durkin ended Tuesday's 78-75 loss to Wisconsin with seven points (3-6 FG, 1-4 3Pt) and two assists over 29 minutes.

Impact Durkin shot 50 percent from the field, but only notched seven points and two assists as he couldn't get to the free throw line and couldn't consistently find his shot. Still, Durkin has taken his game up a notch since entering the starting lineup for the Gophers in December, averaging 10.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists.

Impact Crocker-Johnson hit 20 points for just the second time this season, and was efficient in doing so. His eight boards were also the most he's pulled down since Nov. 15. The junior big man is in the midst of what's been a career year statistically, and his production has been largely consistent night in and night out. That's key for fantasy managers, and Crocker-Johnson will look to keep it up Saturday at Illinois.

Impact Asuma couldn't buy a long-range bucket, but he still managed to hit double-digit points for the second straight game by getting to the free throw line. Since becoming a starter in his sophomore season with the Gophers, Asuma's efficiency has dipped as he's taken on a bigger role. But though he didn't show it against Iowa, the guard's passing has been a big weapon for Minnesota this season, as he's averaging 4.1 assists. That feel for the offense is helping him earn as many minutes as he has thus far in 2025-26.

Cade Tyson - Active everywhere in win Tyson accumulated 16 points (5-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-6 FT), five rebounds, three assists and two steals in 32 minutes during Tuesday's 70-67 win over Iowa.

Impact Tyson didn't have the best day shooting the basketball, but he was active on defense, on the glass and as a passer to help power the Gophers past Iowa. What's more, the senior wing is having a career-year as far as efficiency is concerned, putting up 52/40/82 shooting splits thus far in 2025-26. He's also averaging 21.7 points as Minnesota's leading scorer, and is showing no signs of slowing down.

Langston Reynolds - Leading scorer in big win Reynolds supplied 22 points (9-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-6 FT), five rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal over 39 minutes during Tuesday's 70-67 victory over Iowa.

Impact Reynolds was dynamic as the Gophers downed Iowa, and the guard had his best game in a Minnesota jersey yet. His 22 points were a season-high, and he did it on an extremely efficient 13 shots. With five boards, four dimes, a steal and a block to boot, Reynolds was everywhere as Minnesota won another Big Ten game to move to 3-1 in conference play. Reynolds' play has been streaky this season, but he'll look to ride this momentum into a Friday home tilt with USC.
