He showed ability to facilitate the offense from the pivot, which could be an exciting prospect next year for the Golden Gophers.

Minnesota won two of its last three games to get the 13-seed in the Big Ten Tournament. They will play USC on Wednesday. Asuma had eight points and six assists in the Jan. 9 loss to the Trojans.
