Tyler Ringgold - Unclear status for Wednesday Ringgold is dealing with a groin injury and his status for Wednesday's home matchup against USF is uncertain, according to Guerry Smith of The New Orleans Advocate.

Impact Ringgold didn't play against Charlotte on Friday after aggravating a groin injury in the final moments of the loss to FAU on Wednesday, Jan. 21. As such, Ringgold's status for the Jan. 29 contest against South Florida is in the air. If he's unable to play, then Percy Daniels and Davion Bradford would handle the workload at center.

Rowan Brumbaugh - Goes off for 35 points Brumbaugh closed Friday's 73-70 loss to Charlotte with a career-high 35 points (11-15 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 12-13 FT), five rebounds and one steal across 39 minutes.

Impact Brumbaugh broke out a mini-slump in which he had hit just 35.7 percent of his field goal attempts in his three previous games. He was still able to average 17.3 points in those games. Despite the decent scoring from the junior guard, the Green Wave have dropped their last four games. The team will look to bust the streak against South Florida on Wednesday. Brumbaugh had 13 points and five assists in the win over the Bulls last season.

Impact The 49ers, at 5-2 in conference, have been the biggest surprise of the early going in the American Conference and Mingo is a big reason why. The 6-4 senior has been pouring points off the Charlotte bench. Through seven conference games, he is averaging 14.9 points on 49.2 percent from the field. The 49ers will go for their third straight win Wednesday at Temple. Mingo had seven points and seven assists in the Dec. 30 loss to the Owls.
