Asher Woods led the Tulane Green Wave with 21 points and secured the victory with two free throws with two seconds left as the Green Wave defeated the Portland State Vikings 63-61
4 DAYS AGO • Associated Press
Asher Woods - Hits game-winning free throws Woods had 21 points (6-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 9-9 FT), three rebounds, three assists and two steals over 32 minutes during Saturday's 63-61 win over Portland State.
Impact Woods converted a pair of free throws with two seconds remaining to give the Green Wave their ninth win on the season. The 6-3 senior had been struggling with a pair of six-point games coming into Saturday. He continues to miss from 3-point land and is converting a career-low 20.5 percent of his long-range shots. Tulane is off until New Year's Eve when they open American Conference play against East Carolina.

Rowan Brumbaugh - Scores 19 in loss Brumbaugh closed Sunday's 93-67 loss to UC San Diego with 19 points (8-17 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, five assists and three steals over 34 minutes.
Impact Brumbaugh scored right on his average and had his second straight game with three steals. His productivity wasn't enough to keep the Green Wave from being blow out and losing for the second time in three games. The junior guard is averaging 19.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 3.5 assists. He should be among the top players in the American Conference during the conference schedule.
DECEMBER 14 • ROTOWIRE
Tyler Ringgold - Snags 11 boards Ringgold closed with nine points (3-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-6 FT) and a season-high 11 rebounds in 28 minutes during Sunday's 93-67 loss to UC San Diego.
Impact The 6-8 sophomore has been producing inconsistently. While he has started every game for the Green Wave, his playing time is dependent on his ability to stay out of foul trouble. He has been whistled for four fouls in all but three games. He is averaging 8.5 points on 45.9 percent from the field and 5.0 rebounds.

Asher Woods - Scores 17 off bench Woods contributed 17 points (5-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 6-7 FT), three rebounds, two assists and one steal in 21 minutes during Wednesday's 84-72 victory over Tougaloo.
Impact Woods came off the bench as Josiah Moore moved into the starting lineup. Time will tell if this move is permanent. The 6-3 senior had his fourth straight game of at least 13 points. On the season, Woods is converting just 37.9 percent of his field goals and 24.3 percent of his 3-pointers, which both represent career lows.
DECEMBER 11 • ROTOWIRE
Scotty Middleton - Double-doubles with six assists Middleton amassed 14 points (5-7 FG, 4-5 3Pt), 12 rebounds, six assists, one block and three steals over 34 minutes during Wednesday's 84-72 win over Tougaloo.
Impact Middleton's previous highs this season were 11 points, nine rebounds and three assists (all in separate games). The 6-6 junior also set season standards in 3-pointers and steals. He is averaging 6.6 points and 4.2 rebounds, but Wednesday's performance showed off his upside.

Impact Brumbaugh has cooled off from 3-point land of late. In his last four games, the guard has converted just 6-of-20 (30.0 percent) from long range after starting the season on fire. Despite the struggles, he has scored at least 16 points in all but two games this season. The Green Wave are off until next Saturday when they host San Diego.

Impact Williams Jr. has led the Green Wave on a three-game winning streak with 21.7 points on 62.5 percent from the field, 8.8 rebounds and 2.0 steals. The 6-6 junior has scored in double digits in six straight games, but is starting to take a lead scoring role away from fellow junior Rowan Brumbaugh. The Green Wave might have the best backcourt in the American Conference.

Curtis Williams Jr. - Goes off for career-high 32 Williams Jr. had a career-high 32 points (12-18 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 4-4 FT), nine rebounds, one assist and one steal in 44 minutes during Sunday's 93-90 OT win over Boston College.
Impact Williams Jr. came off the bench for the first time this season on Friday and he seemed to get the message. He, like Rowan Brumbaugh, played 44 minutes in the overtime win. The 6-6 junior has scored in double digits in all but one game, but had only topped 11 points once before Sunday's outburst. He has hit seven 3-pointers in the last two games after hitting just two in his previous three games. Look for Williams Jr. to keep the good time rolling against Nicholls State on the day after Thanksgiving.
