Still dealing with back problems Galloway continues to play through a back injury that coach Archie Miller suspects will be a problem for the remainder of the season, Zach Osterman of The Indianapolis Star reports...

Impact So far, Galloway has only missed two games as a direct result of the injury, but he nonetheless seems to be at less than 100 percent. He was limited to just 11 minutes on the court in Sunday's upset victory over Iowa -- less than half of his 22.5 mpg average on the season. The freshman should continue to be a rotation piece for the Hoosiers, but fantasy players might have a tough time counting on the guard given the uncertainty his injury causes.

Plays 25 minutes in return Galloway (back) had two points (1-3 FG) and three assists across 25 minutes off the bench in Tuesday's 75-71 OT loss to Illinois.

Impact After missing back-to-back games, Galloway returned to the mix and exceeded his season-long minutes average as a reserve. Robert Phinisee has settled into a starting job in his stead, so it's unclear if or when Galloway might be back with the starters.

Impact Previous reports declared the point guard out for the tilt, but Miller wouldn't quite rule out the possibility of the freshman playing against the Hawkeyes. At this point, Galloway seems unlikely to take the floor, though his official status might not be cemented until the game is underway.

Impact It's unclear how the back issue arose for the Hoosiers' starting point guard, but he'll miss at least Thursday's tilt with the injury. The freshman will hope to return for Sunday's game against Rutgers.

Impact Galloway was ineffective in the Hoosiers' last game, but he was able to generate some modest production in Sunday's win. The freshman has taken on a starting role over the past five contests, averaging 4.8 points and 2.2 rebounds over 24.8 minutes per game during that time.

Impact Galloway is stepping into the starting five for Robert Phinisee who will be omitted from the starting lineup for the first time this season. It's unclear if this lineup change is temporary or will continue for more of the Hoosiers' upcoming games.
