Impact Mitchell logged almost twice as many rebounds as the Mountaineers' next-closest player Mohamed Wague, the latter of whom logged five boards in five minutes off the bench. This also marked the starting forward's second-most rebounds of any game this season. However, this strong showing didn't help West Virginia from being outrebounded 39-28 during Saturday's defeat. Mitchell has now averaged 11.1 points and 5.4 rebounds while playing 28.7 minutes per game this season.

Impact Mitchell posted a season low for field-goal attempts while playing slightly below his season average for minutes (29.1) during Saturday's loss. The 6-foot-9 senior was a consistent double-digit scorer through the first two months of the season, but he's now scored in double figures just twice in the last eight games. Mitchell has still averaged 4.7 rebounds per game during that span, but he's shot a paltry 35.7 percent from the field overall. Mitchell has shot at least held a field-goal percentage of 47 percent or better in each campaign of his four-year collegiate career, so he'll look to break out of this current slump Monday at Baylor.
