Donovan Atwell - Ramps up long-range shooting Atwell contributed 13 points (3-10 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, one assist and two steals across 39 minutes during Tuesday's 69-65 loss to Houston.
Impact Atwell, a senior transfer from UNC-Greensboro, has actually improved his efficiency with the move to the Big 12, shooting a career best 42.9 percent from the field through 15 games, all starts. His three-point shooting has also improved, helped by the fact that Atwell is 8-for-19 from distance through two games of league play. He's scored 13 or more in three straight and will look to keep it going Saturday at Colorado.

Emanuel Sharp - Bounces back with 17 Sharp ended Tuesday's 69-65 victory over Texas Tech with 17 points (5-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 5-6 FT), one rebound, two assists and one steal across 39 minutes.
Impact Sharp was held to just two points on a miserable 0-for-9 shooting last Saturday at Cincinnati, but he bounced back here with his third double-digit effort in his last four games. While the production of backcourt mate Milos Uzan has stagnated a bit, Sharp, while inconsistent himself at times, as proven to be an excellent complementary scoring option to star freshman Kingston Flemings (16.1 ppg). Both are capable of carrying the scoring workload on any given evening.
