JT Toppin - Suffers season-ending torn ACL Toppin (knee) suffered a torn ACL in the Tuesday night loss to Arizona State, which will end his season, Jeff Borzello of ESPN.com reports.

Impact Toppin was in the midst of an excellent game in the Red Raiders' loss to Arizona State, with 20 points, eight rebounds, four assists, two steals and four blocks before he tore his ACL, ending the star forward's season. It's an absolutely brutal blow for a Texas Tech team with national title hopes, as Toppin averaged 21.8 points and 10.8 rebounds this season in what's easily been a career year. In his stead, expect more playing time for Luke Bamgboye and Josiah Moseley.

JT Toppin - Suffers leg injury at ASU Toppin suffered a leg injury during Tuesday's 72-67 loss at Arizona State, ESPN reports.

Impact With just over six minutes remaining in the game's second half, off a fast break, Toppin attempted a driving layup over Massamba Diop. In an attempt to evade Diop, Toppin landed his right leg both hard and awkwardly, which resulted in play stopping once he kept writhing in pain, grabbing his right knee while lying on the court. Toppin, who logged 20 points, eight rebounds, four blocks and two steals for Texas Tech at Arizona State, did not return to ASU's court to finish off the game. As the Red Raiders shift their focus to a Saturday afternoon game against Kansas State, just as much attention will go towards their superstar forward, who has once again carried them to excellence in the Big 12 Conference.
