Donovan Atwell - Running it back with Texas Tech Atwell will return to Texas Tech for a fifth season of college basketball, the program announced.

Impact Atwell is taking advantage of recent court rulings granting high school athletes from the class of 2022 another year of eligibility in the wake of the "5-for-5" ruling. Last season, his first year at Texas Tech after beginning his career at North Carolina-Greensboro, he started all 34 games and averaged 13.5 points and 3.2 rebounds while shooting 45.8 percent from deep on 8.4 attempts per game. His addition to the 2026-27 Red Raiders is a pretty significant development in Lubbock, and he should feasibly slide right back into a starting role.
