Malachi Moreno - Grabs double-double Moreno racked up 13 points (4-5 FG, 5-6 FT), 11 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal in 25 minutes during Wednesday's 104-54 victory over Tennessee Tech.
Impact Moreno had his second double-double of the season. He has some playmaking ability and has averaged 2.5 assists over his last four games. The 7-0 freshman has not been held under eight points since the opener and has scored at least 10 points in four games. He has also hit at least half of his shots in every game since the opener. Moreno seems like a player who will grow during the season. He will be tested Tuesday against North Carolina.

Otega Oweh - Scores 16 in win Oweh had a season-high 16 points (6-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), two rebounds, three assists and two steals over 24 minutes during Wednesday's 104-54 victory over Tennessee Tech.
Impact Oweh continues to amble along. His numbers are still down from 2024-25. He has scored at least 11 points but no more than 16 points through seven games. The senior's shooting numbers are up and he had converted 55.0 percent of his field goals over last two games. The Wildcats may need an Oweh breakout against North Carolina next Tuesday.

Jaland Lowe - Ruled out Wednesday Lowe (shoulder) will not play in Wednesday's game against Tennessee Tech, Cole Parke of The Cats Pause reports.
Impact Lowe will be forced to sit out another matchup as he continues working his way back from a shoulder injury. The junior guard has will aim to be back for Kentucky's next contest. In two appearances, he has averaged 7.5 points and 1.5 rebounds on 24.0 minutes.

Mouhamed Dioubate - Inactive Wednesday Dioubate (ankle) will not appear in Wednesday's game against Tennessee Tech, Cole Parke of 247Sports.com reports.
Impact Dioubate will miss his second-straight game as the Wildcats host the Golden Eagles on Wednesday night. The 6-foot-7 junior, who is averaging 11.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists, one steal and 0.8 blocks across five starts, will have his next opportunity to return against UNC next Tuesday.

Impact Quaintance has been making progress in his return from the ACL injury he sustained last season, but he's still not ready to play and won't see action Wednesday. A return in the near future is still possible for the sophomore forward, though, who should be back on the hardwood at some point in mid-December based on the latest updates and his progress in practice.
