Oakland holds on to edge Detroit Mercy 79-73
Oakland led 39-33 at the break and was up 72-55 with just under five minutes remaining when Detroit Mercy’s Willy Isiani sparked a late rally with a pair of 3-ponters and Gerald Blackshear Jr. added a dunk to help the Titans (8-11, 5-2) close to 76-73 with 22 seconds left.
The Golden Grizzlies shot 51 percent from the field compared to 42 percent for Detroit Mercy.
