Burns, Rayman lead Colgate over Marist, 82-66

HAMILTON, N.Y. (AP) — Jordan Burns scored 24 points with six assists and Will Rayman scored a season-high 21 to lead Colgate to an 82-66 victory over Marist on Saturday.

Dana Batt added 10 points and Rapolas Ivanauskas grabbed 12 rebounds to go with nine points for the Raiders (8-4), who shot 50 percent and made 24 of 30 free throws in winning their eighth straight home game, four this season.

Brian Parker scored 18 points in reaching 1,501 for his career, but the Red Foxes (4-5) saw a three-game win streak end.

Colgate led by as many nine in the first half before going into intermission up 32-27. Rayman scored seven points in a 10-0 run and the Raiders went up by double figures for good at 49-35 with 11:13 remaining.

Marist was within 12 with three minutes left before being outscored 8-4 the rest of the way.
