Impact Alexander missed the team's last game because of an apparent wrist injury but has apparently been making some progress and has a shot to return for Saturday's regular-season finale. The 6-0 freshman does a little bit of everything for the team as he averages 11.1 points, 4.4 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 2.6 seals in 31 minutes per game. St. John's needs Alexander back on the floor if they want any chance of making a splash in the Big East tournament, otherwise, they're going to have to rely on Rasheem Dunn and Julian Champagnie to lead them to glory if Alexander remains sidelined.

Impact Alexander suffered a thumb injury late in Tuesday's contest against Villanova, and it appears the issue was serious enough to warrant a scan on the area to see if there was any more damage. Luckily, he's avoided the worst, which could keep him in play for the team's upcoming contests. That's especially true considering the Red Storm don't retake the floor until March 3.

Potential thumb injury Alexander was tending to a right thumb injury late in Tuesday's matchup against Villanova, Kevin Connelly of FanSided reports.

Impact The injury limited Alexander to just 27 minutes in this contest -- his lowest total since Jan. 16. At least fantasy players have an explanation for what was a down game, production wise, as the freshman was limited to just four points on 2-of-7 shooting. The program has a 10-day break on tap, however, which would theoretically give Alexander sufficient time to rest any potential injury. St. John's is next scheduled to take the court against Providence on March 3, barring the late addition of any games.

Impact Williams continues to deal with back troubles in the month of February, which have resulted in a greatly-decreased role since back when he was a starter in the early part of the season. He's now came off the bench in six consecutive contests, averaging 4.5 points across 14.7 minutes. Over the first 15 games of the season, the junior had been putting up 10.9 points, 2.5 assists and 2.3 rebounds across 27.1 minutes.

Efficiency shows once again Moore posted 10 points (4-5 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and three rebounds in the 81-58 loss to Villanova on Tuesday.

Impact Moore was again the leader for the rotation. The center was the most efficient player on the floor and posted a few boards to boost his value. He has been streaky throughout the season, but he seems to have found a hot hand as of recent. He is running on limited minutes, but is still producing with what he is given. Worth the steam if he ever sees the starting rotation.

Impact Champagnie still led the team in points even with an off night from the floor. The forward was atrocious on the floor going a mere 20.8 percent. Although, he was perfect from the line and did produce enough at the board. No matter what he is one of the main producers for the Red Storm and is worth the stream.

Impact Champagnie continues to score at an elite level, coming within four points of his previous season high. His 20.3 ppg is a full two points greater than Sandro Mamukelashvili for the Big East lead, as well as good for No. 26 in the country following the weekend slate of games.

Impact Williams took a knee to the lower back early on in Saturday's game and it clearly affected him. Head coach Mike Anderson mentioned afterward that Williams did have some issues with his back during the game but was proud of how he came back and tried to fight through it. The 6-3 junior has been dealing with the same issue since suffering the injury Jan. 18 and now it seems to have flared back up again. It'll be interesting to see what his availability is like for Tuesday's road game against Villanova.
