Has monster game off bench
Moore posted 13 points (5-7 FG, 0-1 3PT, 3-4 FT), six rebounds and one assist in 14 minutes during the 96-78 win over Utah Valley on Saturday.
Impact
Moore easily had one his second best performance of the season in the win Saturday. The center has been off and on, but more off than anything this year. He has not been able to hit his shots and has barely produced elsewhere to make up for it. However, Moore was one of the most efficient players for the Red Storm and led the secondary-unit in scoring. If he is able to garner more minutes, he would be a player worth monitoring.

Leads team in win
Alexander posted 20 points (8-15 FG, 2-6 3PT, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, two assists and three steals in 34 minutes during the 96-78 win over Utah Valley on Saturday.
Impact
Alexander had one of his best performances of the season in the win Saturday. The guard produced a little bit of everything and set a new season-high in points (20). Alexander has struggled shooting for the most part this season, but has been a consistent ball-mover. However, he is now averaging 19 points per game now in the past two matches and this could be a sign of a positive turn of form.

Back in starting five
Cole is starting Saturday's game against Utah Valley.
Impact
Cole came off the bench in the last three contests, but he'll rejoin the starting five Saturday with Greg Williams (back) unavailable. Over the past five games, Cole is averaging 4.4 points and 2.6 rebounds over 20.2 minutes per contest.

Won't play Saturday
Williams (back) won't play Saturday against Utah Valley, Zach Braziller of the New York Post reports.
Impact
Williams suffered a back injury in Monday's game against UConn, and he'll be unable to take the floor Saturday as a result. Marcus Earlington, Josh Roberts and Dylan Addae-Wusu could see increased run in his absence.

Status for Saturday unclear
Williams has practiced this week but remains a question mark for Saturday's game against Utah Valley, Zach Braziller of the New York Post reports.
Impact
Williams managed just six minutes in Monday's game versus UConn before he was knocked out with a back injury. The fact that he's practice certainly seems to suggest a swift return is on the way, but we may not know his status for Saturday until the Red Storm take the court for warmups.

ROTOWIRE
Performs in win Saturday
Earlington recorded 15 points (5-8 FG, 3-3 3PT, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and one assist in 20 minutes during the 74-70 win over Connecticut on Monday.
Impact
Earlington easily had his season-best performance of the season in the win Monday. The forward has had an off and on season thus far, but managed to pull it together to lead the Red Storm's secondary-unit. Until he can produce more efficiently and consistently, he is not to be warranted.

ROTOWIRE
Has worst performance of the season
Champagnie posted 12 points (2-9 FG, 1-4 3PT, 7-10 FT), six rebounds, one assist, one steal and two blocks in 33 minutes during the 74-70 win over Connecticut on Monday.
Impact
Champagnie was below average in the win Monday. The forward had his worst shooting night of the season going 23 percent from the floor. He did still grab six, but it was not enough to make up for his lackluster performance everywhere else. He is typically a much better producer for the Red Storm and should look to bounce back quickly.

St. John's upsets No. 23 UConn 74-70 as teams renew rivalry
Posh Alexander scored 18 points to lead five St. John’s players in double figures and the Red Storm came from behind to upset No. 23 UConn 74-70

Doubtful to return
Williams (back) is unlikely to return to Monday's game against UConn, Zach Braziller of the New York Post reports.
Impact
Williams played limited minutes in the first half before later being taken to the locker room with a back injury. Williams has had back issues dating back to last preseason. It is certainly something that will have to be monitored going forward.

Will come off bench Saturday
Moore is available to come off the bench Saturday against Marquette, according to Zach Braziller of the New York Post.
Impact
Moore missed the Jan. 12 contest against Butler, but he will be eligible to play Saturday. He is averaging 9.7 points and 5.8 rebounds per game this season but is putting up just 8.0 points per game across his last three appearances off the bench.

Returns to practice, Saturday status unclear
Moore (suspension) rejoined the team at practice Friday, Zach Braziller of the New York Post reports.
Impact
While Braziller indicated that Moore's status for Saturday's game remains to be determined at this point, his presence at practice Friday certainly seems to bode well for a return in the near future. The junior big man was suspended for Tuesday's game versus Butler for "failing to live up to team standards," marking his firs absence of the 2020-21 season. Moore had moved to a bench role in the three games prior to the suspension, averaging eight points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in those contests.

Expected back soon
Moore (suspension) is expected to return to game action soon, Zach Braziller of the New York Post reports.
Impact
Moore was held out of Tuesday's game against Butler due to a violation of team rules. He's not expected to miss much more time, though, and he could return for Saturday's game against Marquette. Through 12 games this season, the junior is averaging 9.7 points and 5.8 rebounds over 19.3 minutes per game.

Has off night in win
Cole recorded eight points (3-8 FG, 1-3 3PT, 1-2 FT), six rebounds and three assists in 29 minutes in the 69-57 win over Butler on Tuesday.
Impact
Cole did not produce in the win Tuesday. The guard struggled to land his shots and went 36 percent from the floor. However, he did have six rebounds and moved the ball around enough to assist his teammates. Cole has not been a productive asset for the Red Storm yet this season, excluding a couple matches and will not be a viable option until he can show consistent form.

ROTOWIRE
Has fire night in win
Roberts recorded eight points (3-4 FG, 2-3 FT) and three rebounds in 23 minutes in the 69-57 win against Butler on Tuesday.
Impact
Roberts had a rather good performance in the win Tuesday. The forward has not had a significant impact so far this season, but did set a season-high in points. He also added a few grabs as well, but not enough to make up for the lack of points. He did however go 75 percent from the floor in his attempts. If he can increase his production with his success rate, he will surely be a viable option for St. John's moving forward.

Coming off bench again
Toro will come off the bench in Tuesday's game against Butler.
Impact
Toro had started the team's last three games, but will return to the bench on Tuesday. He is averaging 2.1 points and 2.6 rebounds per game this season.

ROTOWIRE
Heading to bench
Cole will come off the bench in Tuesday's game against Butler.
Impact
Cole has started all but two games this season. It's not clear if this is just a one game thing or he will continue to come off the bench going forward. Cole is averaging 10.5 points per game this season.

ROTOWIRE
Getting start Tuesday
Dunn will start Tuesday's game against Butler.
Impact
Dunn will get his third start of the season Tuesday. He has been solid this season, but not as statistically productive as in past years yet. Dunn is putting up 7.3 points, 2.6 assists, and 1.3 steals per game this season.

ROTOWIRE
Draws start Tuesday
Roberts will start Tuesday's game against Butler.
Impact
Roberts will be making his fourth start of the season. He has played a limited role overall, but will get another chance for more minutes on Tuesday.

ROTOWIRE
Sitting out Tuesday
Moore will not take the floor Tuesday for "not meeting team standards," Zach Braziller of the New York Post reports.
Impact
It's unclear what Moore did to keep himself off the floor Tuesday, but he will leave the Red Storm down some depth in the frontcourt as a result. Arnaldo Toro, Vince Cole, Marcellus Earlington and Dylan Addae-Wusu are all candidates to pick up some extra minutes in his stead.
