Jordan Hawkins - Unlikely to play until next week According to head coach Dan Hurley, Hawkins (concussion) isn't likely to play in the Big East Tournament, Zach Braziller of the New York Post reports.
Impact Hawkins still hasn't been officially ruled out, but when Hurley was asked about the prospect of Hawkins returning during the conference tournament, he replied, "it's going to be tough." All signs point to the freshman remaining sidelined for Friday's semifinal matchup with Villanova. In the meantime, Jalen Gaffney and Tyler Polley should continue to see extra minutes off the bench until Hawkins is cleared.
