Williamson will start Wednesday's game against Wake Forest.
Impact
Williamson started 15 games for the Cardinals last season and will now receive his first start of the 2021-22 campaign. He's averaged 5.5 points and 4.6 rebounds in 16.5 minutes this year but could see more run Wednesday.

Puts up 13 points off bench
Williamson provided 13 points (6-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 22 minutes during Monday's 77-60 win over Navy.
Impact
It's been odd to see Williamson starting off the bench in each of Louisville's three games so far, but he's been productive with two double-digit scoring performances and a double-double as well. If he keeps performing like this, he should find his way back into the starting five sooner than later.

Double-doubles off bench
Williamson ended with 14 points (6-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-3 FT), 14 rebounds and one assist over 27 minutes during Tuesday's 72-60 victory over Southern University.
Impact
Surprisingly, Williamson started the season on the bench but was able to deliver one of the Cardinals' most efficient stat lines with a strong double-double. He should find his way into the starting lineup sooner than later, presumably Friday against Fruman.

Not starting opener
Williamson will come off the bench Tuesday against Southern.
Impact
Williamson started in 15 of his 18 appearances for the Cardinals last season, but he'll open the 2021-22 campaign by coming off the bench. He averaged 9.6 points, 8.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 28.7 minutes during the 2020-21 season and should remain a significant rotation piece for Louisville again this year.

Double-doubles against Duke
Williamson registered 14 points (5-7 FG, 4-4 FT), 12 rebounds, three assists and a steal across 42 minutes in Saturday's overtime win over Duke.
Impact
Williamson didn't hold a big offensive role but still found a way to make his presence felt -- he only missed two shots and posted the second double-double of his last four appearances. He has been very productive of late and has averaged 12.4 points and 11.6 rebounds over his last five games.

Back in starting lineup
Williamson is among the starters for Saturday's game agains North Carolina.
Impact
Williamson was moved to the bench for the last three games but lays claim to a starting spot again Saturday after a dominating 20-point, 18-rebound effort against Georgia Tech prior to the team going on pause. The sophomore is averaging 9.6 points and 7.5 rebounds on the season and should be under consideration for fantasy lineups.

Scores 15 with 11 boards
Williamson registered 15 points (5-7 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-4 FT), 11 rebounds and an assist across 34 minutes in Wednesday's win at Wake Forest.
Impact
Williamson has two double-doubles over his last five appearances, and he has scored more than 10 points three times in that span as well. Williamson has been extremely inconsistent on a game-to-game basis and that has conspired against his upside, but he seems to be trending in the right direction -- he is averaging 9.2 points and 7.0 rebounds over his last five contests.

Posts double-double in win
Williamson registered 14 points (4-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-7 FT), 12 rebounds, two steals and two blocks across 35 minutes in Tuesday's 64-54 win over Pittsburgh.
Impact
Williamson might not have equaled what he did in his debut this season when he finished with 17 points, but he set new season-high marks in rebounds, steals and blocks while also logging at least 35 minutes for the second game in a row. Williamson seems to be recovered from the injury that forced him to miss two games earlier this month, and that's undoubtedly a positive sign for the Cardinals moving forward. His next chance to play will come Dec. 26 against Kentucky.

Scores seven against Badgers
Williamson recorded seven points (2-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds and an assist in Saturday's loss against Wisconsin.
Impact
Williamson made his presence felt on both sides of the court Saturday and, while the seven points aren't exactly a huge accomplishment, it's fair to say the entire Louisville offense struggled against the Badgers. His next chance to play will come Tuesday at Pittsburgh.

In starting five
Williamson will start Saturday's game against Wisconsin.
Impact
Williamson was unavailable for the previous two contests but is back in the fold and the starting five as a result, taking the place of the absent Carlik Jones (undisclosed). Assuming his conditioning is up to par, look for Williamson to play hefty minutes again Saturday.
