GAME LOG

Will play Saturday Williamson (toe) will return for Saturday's game against Wisconsin, Shannon Russell of the Louisville Courier-Journal reports.
Impact Williamson exited the game against Seton Hall on Nov. 27 after injuring his toe while coming down from an attempted dunk. While he injured his toe, his right foot reportedly went completely numb when the initial injury occurred. Williamson missed two more games due to the injury and then the Cardinals went on a temporary pause due to COVID-19 problems within the program. The long layoff gave Williamson some extra time to heal as he'll be ready to play and should return to the starting lineup as the team looks to upset the No. 12 Badgers.

Impact Williamson missed two games due to a toe injury sustained against Seton Hall, but he returned to practice earlier this week and could be an option Saturday. "I feel a lot better," Williamson said on Thursday afternoon. "That was one of the positives of the situation of us getting shut down a little bit. It allowed me, and my body, and those that are banged up some extra time to kind of get healed up and be with our trainer Fred Hina, and that was to get better. So that was a positive situation." Williamson has averaged 11.5 points in two games this season.
