Impact Yigitoglu was limited to only 20 minutes due to the blowout nature of this win for the Spartans, but that was enough to end just two boards shy of recording a double-double. Even though Yigitoglu has notched just one double-double in seven outings, he's averaging a solid 11.0 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.

Impact Miller has been one of SMU's best players this season, and he backed that up here, as he came through when the Mustangs needed him the most. Miller is averaging 17.1 points, 6.0 assists and 4.1 rebounds per game through seven contests in 2024-25.

Impact Yigitoglu made his 2024-25 debut in the win over UNC-Greensboro after being cleared by the NCAA on Nov. 11, but he's been able to post steady numbers in his first four outings of the campaign. Through four games, the 7-foot-2 big man is averaging 11.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per contest while starting in each of his four appearances.

Impact The Mustangs came up short Friday and lost by just five points in this one, but Oquendo delivered a solid showing off the bench despite featuring for less than 20 minutes. Oquendo has scored in double digits in just two of his six appearances, however, so the lack of consistency certainly hurts his upside.

Impact Harris has been a steady offensive weapon off the bench for the Mustangs, and the numbers back that up. This 21-point output was his best game of the season, but it's worth noting he has scored at least 15 points in three of his four contests. He's averaging 15.3 points per game while shooting 47.8 percent from the floor.

Samet Yigitoglu - Cleared by NCAA Yigitoglu (not injury related) has been cleared to play by the NCAA and will make his debut Monday night against UNC-Greensboro, Billy Embody of On3.com reports.
Impact Yigitoglu, a 7-foot-2 freshman center from Turkey, is set to make his collegiate debut for the Mustangs tonight. He's one of the top international freshman in the sport, and his presence should be a big boost for SMU's front court.

Impact Even though Traore earned more than half of his points from the charity stripe, he still posted an excellent stat line as the Mustangs cruised to an easy victory. This was his first double-double of the season, and a few more performances like this could push Traore into the role of being the second-best offensive weapon for the Mustangs behind Boopie Miller.
