Corey Washington - Dominant double-double Monday Washington finished Monday's 89-72 win over Radford with 21 points (8-13 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-4 FT), 12 rebounds, three blocks and two steals across 32 minutes.

Impact Washington was one of three SMU players who scored at least 15 points in this game, and he was one of two who also recorded a double-double with Jaron Pierre (15 points, 13 boards) being the other. Washington should remain a backup option on offense, so he's not expected to be among the most dominant scoring players for SMU going forward.

Impact Edwards posted an unconventional triple-double in this game, as he did it with points, assists and steals. This was the best way to show how impactful Edwards can be on both ends of the court, and his role as SMU's top two-way threat is not in question. Edwards has scored at least 20 points in three of his six games this season, averaging 15.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 3.0 steals.

Impact Walters hurt his ankle against Arkansas-Pine Bluff and only played two minutes in that game on Nov. 18. Now, the issue appears to be one that's going to hold him out of multiple games. The forward started the first two games of the year for the Mustangs, but has since been relegated to a bench role. Not counting the game in which he got injured, Walters averages 1.8 points and 1.8 rebounds this season.

Impact Miller not only led the Mustangs in scoring with an efficient 23-point performance, but he also stood out with his 12 assists. This was the third time Miller reached the 20-point mark in four appearances this season, but he's doing more than just scoring, as he's also dished out at least five assists in each of his appearances so far. Through four contests, Miller is averaging 21.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 7.3 assists and 2.0 steals per game. It's still and mostly against mid-level opponents, but Miller is enjoying a career-best start to the campaign.

The rest-of-season outlook is overwhelmingly positive for the fifth-year senior, who had already appeared in 118 collegiate games heading into his final season at SMU -- his first in a Power Five conference.

Impact Miller wasn't sharp from the field in a Nov. 6 matchups against Texas A&M-CC, going just 2-for-14, but he made up for it at the charity stripe. The senior followed that up with a much better shooting day Tuesday en route to a season-best scoring total, while also chipping in season highs in rebounding and steals. It's a small sample size against mid-major opponents, but Miller is currently on pace for career-best averages in scoring (20.7 ppg) and assists (5.7 apg). That likely slows down in conference play, but for now, fantasy managers should be taking advantage of these opportunities to rack up counting stats. It may even have a chance to continue given he's shooting a career-best 90.3 percent from the free-throw line and has racked up a combined 31 attempts in only three games.
