Dashawn Davis - Scores 12 across game started Davis accumulated 12 points (4-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), one rebound, one assist and one steal across 27 minutes during Monday's 58-55 victory over Marquette.
Impact Though not much, Davis' points were scored efficiently. Mississippi State's first five games indicate he and Jamel Horton are expected to compete over their undetermined starting point guard position. Currently, Davis may be favored after scoring 12 points compared to Horton's zero Monday.
