Impact With so much talk in the offseason about the front court duo of Bryce Hopkins and Zuby Ejiofor, Mitchell was an overlooked aspect of the Red Storm's starting five. That was not the case in Monday's opener as he led the team in scoring (18), rebounding (seven) and steals (four). It was an excellent start to his St. John's career after productive stints at Texas and Cincinnati, and with opposing coaches set to be focused on Hopkins and Ejiofor, Mitchell could be in for a very productive season.
