Daniel Jacobsen - Good minutes in blowout Jacobsen logged eight points (2-2 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT) and five rebounds in 22 minutes during Sunday's 93-63 win over Maryland.

Impact Purdue got to go deep into its bench as it rolled over Maryland for a dominant -- and much needed -- victory that snapped a three-game losing streak. Jacobsen was one of the main beneficiaries of this expanded rotation, and he saw his most action since the Dec. 29 win over Kent State. He turned that into a respectable eight points and five rebounds, and also hit a three-pointer, his third of the season and still a marvel to watch at 7-foot-4.

Omer Mayer - Offers nine points Mayer closed Sunday's 93-63 win over Maryland with nine points (3-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, one assist and one steal over 18 minutes.

Impact Mayer has largely been an afterthought for the Boilermakers this season, averaging 5.7 points and 1.2 rebounds off the bench. The freshman guard was given an expanded opportunity with Purdue up big against Maryland, and he parlayed that into one of his better showings of the season. Mayer isn't a big part of Purdue's rotation at the moment, but he's certainly gaining valuable experience off the Boilermakers' bench.

Gicarri Harris - Drops 12 off the bench Harris amassed 12 points (3-7 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), one rebound and one steal in 20 minutes during Sunday's 93-63 win over Maryland.

Impact Purdue had no problem piling on the points against a lowly Maryland squad, and everyone got in on the action -- even the seldom utilized Harris, who was averaging just 4.7 points and 1.7 rebounds entering Sunday's contest. His 20 minutes were the most he played since a Dec. 29 buy game win over Kent State, which tracks given the blowout nature of the game. This was a good outing for the sophomore guard, but it appears to be an outlier this season.

C.J. Cox - Nearly silent in win Cox had one point (0-2 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal over 19 minutes during Sunday's 93-63 victory over Maryland.

Impact Cox's one point was his lowest scoring output since the season opener when he posted a goose egg. He also attempted just two shots, his fewest since the third game of the season, an 87-80 win over Alabama. Purdue didn't need much out of its sophomore guard to roll over the hapless Terps, but he'll look to bounce back when the Boilermakers host Oregon on Saturday.

Oscar Cluff - Stays quiet in win Cluff racked up six points (2-2 FG, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and one block across 18 minutes during Sunday's 93-63 victory over Maryland.

Impact Cluff has now been held to single digit points in four straight games. He hasn't been that assertive, averaging just 4.0 shot attempts per game, but he hit both of his shots from the floor in the bounce-back win over Maryland. The senior center appears to be cooling off as we near the home stretch of conference play in the Big Ten.

Braden Smith - Bounces back in win Smith recorded 19 points (6-9 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), two rebounds and six assists across 27 minutes during Sunday's 93-63 win over Maryland.

Impact Smith struggled from the field in Purdue's rivalry loss to Indiana, needing 14 shots to score 14 points as the Boilermakers dropped their third straight. On Sunday in a get-right game against Maryland, however, he notched 19 points on 66.7 percent shooting from the floor, burying four triples in the process. He also got back on track as a facilitator, sporting an assist-to-turnover ratio of 6:1, as opposed to the Indiana game, when it was just 5:4.

Fletcher Loyer - Snaps out of slump Loyer supplied 29 points (9-14 FG, 7-10 3Pt, 4-6 FT), two rebounds and three assists in 27 minutes during Sunday's 93-63 victory over Maryland.

Impact Over his previous four games, Loyer had averaged just 6.5 ppg on 26.7 percent shooting, but he bounced back here with his best single-game scoring total since the season opener. While most of his counting stats are in line with a season ago, both Loyer's field-goal and three-point percentages are down four-plus points. That explains why he hasn't taken the leap some expected in his senior year, but as was shown Sunday, he's still more than capable of a big ceiling game when the outside shots start falling.

Impact Purdue has now dropped three straight, and it might be time to wonder about what's happening in West Lafayette. Still, it wasn't due to a lack of effort from Kaufman-Renn, whose 23 points were a season-high. He wasn't a big factor on the glass with just three rebounds, but he was a relentless scorer in the paint and almost willed the Boilermakers to a win himself. It was a good showing for Kaufamn-Renn after a string of relatively quiet outings, and he'll look to stay hot Sunday at Maryland.
