Impact Smith broke the Purdue all-time assist record a week earlier in a blowout win over Wisconsin, and while this Saturday was another strong distributing day, he's been showing off his scoring chops as well of late. He put up 23 points earlier in the week against Washington and had his second-best scoring total of the year here, while also matching his season-high in assists. On the year, Smith leads the entire country with 9.8 apg -- a full assist per game more than the No. 2 distributor, Michigan State's Jeremy Fears.
