Jason Edwards - Leads scoring in loss to Hoskies Edwards provided 28 points (10-19 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 6-6 FT), two rebounds and four assists across 32 minutes during Saturday's 107-101 OT loss to Virginia Tech.

Impact Edwards was poised to be a big part of the Friars' squad after transferring in from Vanderbilt this offseason, and he only reinforced the buzz even in a loss to the Hokies. The senior guard led Providence in points, shooting 53 percent from the field and hitting multiple key shots in the nail-biter. Edwards looks to be poised as a leader for his new team this season, and he'll be tested once again versus Pennsylvania on Tuesday.

Daquan Davis - Hardly involved over 12 minutes Davis (undisclosed) chipped in zero points (0-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and one steal in 12 minutes during Saturday's 107-101 OT loss to Virginia Tech.

Impact Davis was a non-factor for Providence, but he suited up and played 12 minutes despite the fact that he is reportedly tending to an undisclosed injury. Davis may be healthy, but he looks a ways away from being a contributor for the Friars team.

Amani Hansberry - Double-doubles in OT win Hansberry totaled 17 points (6-15 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-5 FT), 11 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal over 39 minutes during Saturday's 107-101 OT win over Providence.

Impact Neoklis Avladas will grab all the headlines thanks to his 33-point performance Saturday, but there's no question Hansberry also had an impressive outing. The forward should be a valuable frontcourt weapon for the Hokies, as he's proven to have the ability to get it done both as a scoring and rebounding asset.

Neoklis Avdalas - Massive stat line Saturday Avdalas registered 33 points (13-23 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 2-4 FT), five rebounds, six assists, one block and one steal across 34 minutes during Saturday's 107-101 OT win over Providence.

Impact Avdalas had eight points and nine assists in the season-opening win over Charleston Southern on Monday, but he showed his full array of offense in this contest. One of the most hyped freshmen in the ACC this season, Avdalas should become one of Virginia Tech's go-to weapons on offense sooner rather than later.

Antonio Dorn - Dressed out Saturday Dorn (undisclosed) is in uniform for Saturday's game against Providence, Thomas Hughes of SI.com reports.

Impact Dorn was deemed ineligible for the season opener, but it looks like he will be available for Saturday's contest. The freshman from Berlin should supply some additional depth in the frontcourt for the Hokies in 2025-26.
