While the Hokies weren't able to pick up the win here, Lawal had a strong individual effort in which he finished second on the team in scoring while matching his season-best rebounding total. The senior forward is averaging 11.4 points and 8.8 rebouhnds over his last eight games.

Impact Despite some previous pro experience overseas, Avdalas appears to be hitting a bit of a freshman wall in the heat of conference play. Over the first 17 games of the year, the 6-9 point forward was averaging 14.2 ppg on 41.9 percent shooting, to go along with 5.1 assists per contest. In his last five games, however, Avdalas is averaging only 6.8 ppg on 21.6 percent shooting, and the assists have fallen to 4.0 apg. It may be a tough week to deploy Avdalas in fantasy considering he has just one scheduled game Saturday against a pretty tough NC State defense.
