Jones' off-the-bench efficiency was key to Marquette's victory, and he will look to continue his hot-shooting freshman year moving forward.

A.J. Reeves - Status in question for Saturday Coach Ed Cooley said he "doesn't know" if Reeves (finger) will be available to play Saturday against St. John's, Kevin McNamara of The Providence Journal reports.

Impact Reeves was unable to suit up for Tuesday's loss to Marquette, and he may be sidelined for additional games. The senior forward received treatment for the finger injury, but Cooley noted the team will be cautious with his return given it's still early in the conference schedule.

Impact Reeves was limited to just eight minutes against DePaul on New Year's Day due to the finger issue and it looks to still be bothering him leading up to Tuesday's affair. On a more positive note, Reeves' day-to-day designation indicates he's avoided serious damage to the finger, so the senior doesn't figure to miss a ton of time, if any, because of it.

Kam Jones - Clears protocols, playing Tuesday Marquette head coach Shaka Smart said Jones (COVID-19 protocols) has been cleared to play in Tuesday's game against Providence, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Impact Jones only missed one game while he was in isolation, a 75-69 loss to Creighton on Saturday. The true freshman should step back into Smart's rotation Tuesday, and he could even recapture a starting role after he was included on the top unit in six straight games prior to sitting out against Creighton.
