Pierre Brooks II announces that he's transferring from Michigan State Less than a week after MSU’s season ended, the Spartans are already beginning to get an idea of what next season’s roster might look like.

Impact Brooks logged his first DNP of 2023. No reason was given as to why he sat out. Currently, the Spartans are scheduled to host Indiana on Tuesday.

Impact Brooks will return to coming off the bench, and A.J. Hoggard will make his way back into the starting lineup against Penn State. The 6-foot-6 sophomore has appeared in all nine games this season, logging 7.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 0.6 assists on 24 minutes per game. Brooks projects to remain heavily involved for the Spartans.

Impact Brooks wasn't offered the chance to start but could certainly make that happen if he makes Monday's performance a regular event. Nine players logged at least 11 minutes to open the season and Brooks was one of the more efficient members of a deep group in rotation.
