Huge 30-point performance vs. Hoyas Brooks finished Saturday's 97-86 win over Georgetown with 30 points (10-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 8-8 FT), two rebounds, three assists and two steals over 34 minutes.

Impact Brooks was an absolute monster on the offensive side of the ball in the win over Georgetown, as he was nearly unstoppable as a scorer throughout the matchup. The senior forward missed just one of his nine shots within the arc, and he also converted 50 percent of his three-point shots. He's now scored 20 or more points in seven outings this year and scored double-digit points in all but five games.

Impact DePaul may not offer much resistance defensively, but that's not to take away from season-best performances in both scoring and rebounding for Brooks. He was held to just two points in a loss to UConn earlier in the week, so this was a solid effort for the senior, who continues to maintain career highs in scoring (15.2 ppg) and rebounding (5.2 rpg). Next up is a home matchup against Marquette on Tuesday.

Impact Brooks and the Bulldogs bounced back from a nine-game losing streak Wednesday, but the streak certainly hasn't been due to any kind of slump for the senior, who is averaging 15.6 ppg over his last 10 contests. He's neck-in-neck with Jahmyl Telfort (15.2 ppg) for the team scoring lead, and the duo will have to keep it up with a tough road matchup against UConn on Saturday.
