Impressive outside shooting McNeil posted 21 points (7-13 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals in 30 minutes during Saturday's 113-69 win over Florida State.

Impact McNeil has been one of the ACC's most-improved players, as he's more than tripled his minutes, scoring and rebounding averages from a season ago. The game log is a bit volatile however, though he has achieved double figures in five of his last six -- a streak that started with a 47-point explosion against Texas Southern back on Dec. 17. Saturday was his best scoring output since, and his third-best total of the year. While the shooting may be streaky, McNeil is a big reason the NCAA Tournament-hopeful Wolfpack, under the direction of new coach Will Wade, are fifth in the country in three-point shooting (40.1 percent) heading into Monday's slate of games.

Impact McNeil had an impressive performance for the Wolfpack on Wednesday, setting a new career-best mark and draining 11 of his 17 threes. He set a program record of threes made in a single game and also became the first player since the 2004-05 season to record at least 45 points, 10 boards and 11 threes in a game. McNeil had enjoyed an excellent start to the season but had cooled off a bit in recent weeks. It's clear he should recover his confidence with this epic performance.
