Tre Singleton - Active defensively in win Singleton posted eight points (3-4 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, one assist and three steals in 30 minutes during Sunday's 79-77 win over South Carolina. Impact Singleton remains rather unassertive as a scorer, as he only attempted four shots over 30 minutes of action. That's about par for the course, as he's averaging 4.5 field goals attempted this season. Still, he's been effective for the Wildcats, and with three steals and five rebounds against South Carolina, he was active in other facets for Northwestern. The freshman forward has gotten off to a very solid start to his career, and while he hasn't exactly stuffed the stat sheet, he's been very efficient, shooting 63 percent from the field.
