Impact Stevenson is on to his third school in four years, as he transferred to Washington last year after spending two seasons at Wichita State. The 6-3 junior averaged 9.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.1 steals in 26.5 minutes per game for the Huskies. He apparently told head coach Mike Hopkins after the season that he was unhappy at the program and was not going to come back. Stevenson had some very bright moments during the year, as he had a seven-game stretch where he scored in double figures, including a season-high 27 points against Cal on Jan. 9. He was largely inconsistent with his shooting, however, as he shot below 30 percent from beyond the arc for the second time in three seasons. Stevenson should be considered for a starting role as an upgrade over Seventh Woods at the shooting guard position.
