Jayden Reid - Erupts for 28 off bench Reid produced 28 points (9-15 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 6-7 FT), four rebounds, three assists and two steals across 31 minutes during Wednesday's 79-68 loss to Illinois.

Impact Reid was removed from the starting five for the first time this season, and he responded by dropping a season-high 28 points on excellent efficiency. He crashed the glass harder than normal as well with four boards, and this was the bounce-back outing the junior guard desperately needed. It remains to be seen if Reid will return to the starting five after this outburst, or if head coach Chris Collins will keep him on the bench after it worked so well against the Illini.

Impact Martinelli fought extremely valiantly, scoring over 20 points for the sixth-straight game. Still, it wasn't enough to fend off Michigan State, who came back in the second half to hand the Wildcats their fourth straight loss in conference play. The senior forward is having a monster year, averaging 23.4 points on 59/51/79 shooting splits, and he's having to carry what's proven to be a disappointing Northwestern team, which is certainly helping his statistical output.

Max Green - Notches six off the bench Green recorded six points (2-8 FG, 2-7 3Pt), one rebound, one assist and two steals in 24 minutes during Thursday's 76-66 loss to Michigan State.

Impact Green surpassed 20 minutes for just the second time this season as the Wildcats fell to Michigan State. The bench guard's minutes appear to be picking up, however, as he's averaged 20.5 minutes in his last four games as opposed to 11.5 in the 11 games before that. Still, he remains tough to count on from a fantasy perspective.

Jayden Reid - Struggles from field in loss Reid had eight points (3-14 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, eight assists and four steals in 30 minutes during Thursday's 76-66 loss to Michigan State.

Impact Reid had a dismal shooting outing against the Spartans, but he did manage to dish out eight assists as he continues to grow as a passer for the Wildcats. Reid is shooting under 40 percent from the field this season, so he does need to pick up his efficiency, but this was still an uncharacteristically rough night. Still, his scoring has come in spurts this season, so he's risky fantasy-wise.

Justin Mullins - Four points in spot start Mullins closed Thursday's 76-66 loss to Michigan State with four points (2-6 FG, 0-3 3Pt), two rebounds and one assist over 20 minutes.

Impact Mullins got his first start of the season in the loss to Michigan State, and didn't offer much. He scored four points on six shots and only pulled down two rebounds. The senior guard can provide a handful of solid minutes, but doesn't seem equipped to hold down a starting role in Evanston.

Jordan Clayton - Offers next to nothing in start Clayton contributed one point (0-4 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and one rebound over 20 minutes during Thursday's 76-66 loss to Michigan State.

Impact Clayton has remained very quiet production-wise, even as he's entered the starting lineup the past seven games for the Wildcats. Against the Spartans, he was again largely reliant on the three, even though he's shooting just 25 percent from distance this season. At this point in the year, Clayton isn't offering much as from a fantasy perspective.
