Impact Martinelli's ninth consecutive game with 20 or more points actually brought his season-long average down a tick to 23.7 ppg -- good for the second-best average in the country. Northwestern may be a woeful 0-7 in Big Ten play, but Martinelli remains one of the top fantasy assets in the nation as the team's go-to option. On top of the scoring, Martinelli is averaging career highs in rebounding (6.8 rpg) and shooting percentage (56.3). The Wildcats hit the road this week for matchup at USC (Jan. 21) and UCLA (Jan. 24).

Singleton remains rather untrustworthy for fantasy purposes.

Impact Martinelli fought extremely valiantly, scoring over 20 points for the sixth-straight game. Still, it wasn't enough to fend off Michigan State, who came back in the second half to hand the Wildcats their fourth straight loss in conference play. The senior forward is having a monster year, averaging 23.4 points on 59/51/79 shooting splits, and he's having to carry what's proven to be a disappointing Northwestern team, which is certainly helping his statistical output.

Max Green - Notches six off the bench Green recorded six points (2-8 FG, 2-7 3Pt), one rebound, one assist and two steals in 24 minutes during Thursday's 76-66 loss to Michigan State.

Impact Green surpassed 20 minutes for just the second time this season as the Wildcats fell to Michigan State. The bench guard's minutes appear to be picking up, however, as he's averaged 20.5 minutes in his last four games as opposed to 11.5 in the 11 games before that. Still, he remains tough to count on from a fantasy perspective.

Jayden Reid - Struggles from field in loss Reid had eight points (3-14 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, eight assists and four steals in 30 minutes during Thursday's 76-66 loss to Michigan State.

Impact Reid had a dismal shooting outing against the Spartans, but he did manage to dish out eight assists as he continues to grow as a passer for the Wildcats. Reid is shooting under 40 percent from the field this season, so he does need to pick up his efficiency, but this was still an uncharacteristically rough night. Still, his scoring has come in spurts this season, so he's risky fantasy-wise.
