Justyn Mutts - Goes for 19 points in NIT exit Mutts finished with 19 points (9-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, two assists and one block in 37 minutes during Wednesday's 81-72 loss to Cincinnati.

Impact Mutts was excellent from the field but wasn't able to carry the Hokies to victory here. He ended the 2022-23 season with double-digit outings in five of his last six appearances, averaging a career-best 13.3 points per game throughout the campaign (33 appearances, all as a starter).

Impact The Hokies lost in the opening round of the NIT, and it wasn't even close. Despite the outcome, Basile had a strong stat line, and he ended the season having scored in double digits in his last 18 games. He averaged 16.4 points per game in his first year with the program.
