Tamin Lipsey - Standout performance in Round of 32 Lipsey provided 26 points (8-15 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 7-8 FT), three rebounds, 10 assists and five steals over 37 minutes during Sunday's 82-63 win over Kentucky. Impact Lipsey and the rest of the Cyclones had to step up with Joshua Jefferson sidelined by an ankle injury, and the senior point guard answered the call, perhaps more than anyone. Lipsey had both his first double-double of the year and a season-best scoring total, as ISU won in convincing fashion. It was particularly impressive given Lipsey had managed just 11 points on 3-of-17 shooting over the previous two games. Jefferson is getting an MRI on his ankle to determine the extent of the damage, but whatever the verdict, Lipsey will have to play a major role in Friday's Sweet Sixteen matchup against Tennessee.
