Impact Thiam reportedly tweaked his ankle but is not expected to be overly concerning given his status. The freshman center will aim to be available for Sunday's game against California Baptist.

Contributing early Thiam produced 13 points (5-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds and one block across 26 minutes during Friday's 75-68 victory over Purdue Fort Wayne.

Impact Thiam posted his first double-digit scoring effort in just his second career game. The 7'2" freshman posted 13 points after having struggled offensively in his first game against Texas A&M though he was able to make his presence known defensively in that contest, redirecting six Aggie shots on the evening. Thiam has earned the starting center role early in the season for the Golden Knights and has already proven that he can impact the game on both ends of the court through his first two games.
