Impact Thiam was considered one of the top portal bigs after he averaged 12.8 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.6 blocks last season as a full-time starter at Cincinnati. The 7-foot-2 center, who shot 52.2 percent from the floor last year, will have two seasons of eligibility remaining with the reigning champion Wolverines.

Impact Thiam did everything he could to lead the Bearcats to a much-needed win, dominating the paint against his former school with season highs in rebounds and redirected shots. The sophomore big man also went a season-best 3-for-4 from beyond the arc as he collected his fifth double double in the last eight games. Despite the performance, the Bearcats fell and in all likelihood will just miss out on the NCAA tournament, meaning Thiam's next game will likely come in either the NIT or the College Basketball Crown.
