Impact Lipsey posted a career high in scoring while also contributing his usual output as a ball distributor and elite defender. The senior guard saw his numbers take a dip across the board last season after a breakout sophomore campaign but he is on fire to start this season and has performed as the best two-way point guard in the country to this point. Through three games, the star floor general is already on pace to set career-best marks in scoring, assists and steals, having shot 56.8-percent from the floor while averaging 17.7 points, 5.7 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 4.3 thefts across 30.7 minutes.

Impact Jefferson has picked up where he left off last season for the Cyclones when he was named as a second-team all Big 12 performer. The senior forward is shooting 67.9-percent from the floor thus far on the young season, averaging 17.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists across 26.7 minutes per contest.

Josh Hubbard - Drops 25 in loss Hubbard closed Monday's 96-80 loss to Iowa State with 25 points (8-17 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 5-5 FT), three rebounds, five assists and one steal across 36 minutes.

Impact Hubbard looks intent on getting his points in any kind of game. The Bulldogs fell behind by 18 points at halftime, but the 6-0 junior kept scoring. He has averaged 26.0 points in his first two outings and has added 6.5 assists and 1.5 steals. Hubbard should continue to be one of the better producers for stats in the SEC.

Achor Achor - Snags eight boards Achor had nine points (2-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), eight rebounds and one steal in 19 minutes during Monday's 96-80 loss to Iowa State.

Impact Achor also had eight boards in the opener, but was limited to two points in the win over UNC-Asheville. The Kansas State transfer looks like he will be a consistent producer on the boards, but his offensive game is raw. The Bulldogs have an upcoming Saturday matinee against Southeastern Louisiana, so Achor will have another chance to clean the glass.

Ja'Borri McGhee - Moving to starting role McGhee is in the starting lineup for Monday's game against Iowa State.

Impact McGhee will get the nod in the backcourt due to the absence of Jayden Epps (undisclosed). McGhee was productive in the opener with 14 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals across 23 minutes off the bench.

Impact It's unclear why Epps didn't travel with the Bulldogs, but the senior guard will be unavailable Monday. His absence will allow for Ja'Borri McGhee to start. Epps played 15 minutes in Mississippi State's season opener. His next chance to play will come Saturday against Southeastern Louisiana.
