John Mobley Jr. - Leading scorer as OSU tops Gophers Mobley produced 26 points (9-19 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, two assists and one block across 43 minutes during Tuesday's 82-74 OT win over Minnesota.

Impact Mobley has been on an absolute heater as of late. Since Dec. 23, he's averaging 17.7 points on 48/48/95 shooting splits. That's insane efficiency for the sophomore guard, who is flourishing after an uneven start to the season. What's more, the Buckeyes appear to be picking up steam themselves, winning two straight league games. Mobley will look to continue his career year Saturday at Michigan.

Bruce Thornton - Drops 23 in OT win Thornton produced 23 points (9-16 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 4-6 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and four steals over 42 minutes during Tuesday's 82-74 OT victory over Minnesota.

Impact Thornton couldn't find his shooting stroke from downtown, but he still surpassed 20 points for the third straight game and was a menace defensively with four steals, a season-best for the star point guard. Thornton is in the midst of a career year, and despite the off night from distance, there's no need to worry in that department; he's hitting 41.4 percent of his shots from downtown. He'll look to help Ohio State build off consecutive wins and stay hot as a scorer at Michigan on Friday.

Cade Tyson - Fouls out of heartbreaker Tyson fouled out of Tuesday's 82-74 OT loss to Ohio State after recording 15 points (3-6 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 7-8 FT), five rebounds and one assist in 33 minutes.

Impact Minnesota has been on the wrong end of some gut-wrenching losses early on in conference play, and Tuesday's overtime defeat to the Buckeyes was no different. Tyson, meanwhile, fouled out with 15 points for the second straight game. Ohio State held him to just six field goal attempts, a season low, but he managed to get to the free throw line time and time again to inflate his point total. Tyson will look to help the Gophers snap their four-game losing skid Saturday against currently unbeaten Nebraska.

Impact Johnson was granted eligibility last week, but he has yet to make his debut for the Buckeyes. The veteran forward may need to get up to speed from a physical standpoint before being cleared to play. His next chance to do so will come Friday against Michigan.
