Jordan Clayton - Supplies 20 off the bench Clayton accumulated 20 points (6-8 FG, 6-7 3Pt, 2-4 FT), four rebounds, one assist, one block and three steals across 25 minutes during Wednesday's 78-74 victory over Maryland.
Impact Clayton dropped 20 points essentially out of nowhere. The junior guard had mainly been a reserve bench player for the Wildcats prior to Wednesday night, averaging 2.7 points and 1.7 rebounds. Against the Terps, however, he hit a different gear, drilling six three-point shots after shooting just 31.5 percent from distance heading into the game. At the moment, this still looks like an outlier performance for Clayton, but it was quite the effort in a narrow win.

Nick Martinelli - Healthy 29-point outing Martinelli registered 29 points (9-17 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 8-9 FT), two rebounds, three assists and one steal across 39 minutes during Wednesday's 78-74 win over Maryland.
Impact Martinelli was at the top of his game in a narrow win over the Terps, pouring on 29 points, his highest total since a quieter five-game stretch. He was nearly flawless from the charity stripe and hit three triples on six attempts, stressing every part of the court for the Wildcats. Despite the rough year for Northwestern, Martinelli is having a season that will be remembered in Wildcat lore for quite some time.

Andre Mills - Explodes for 39 points Mills ended with 39 points (12-17 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 9-9 FT), four rebounds, one assist and one block across 32 minutes during Wednesday's 78-74 loss to Northwestern.
Impact Mills has proven to be a capable scorer in his freshman season in College Park, averaging 9.8 points on decent 43/35/73 shooting splits. Still, no one could've predicted what went down on Wednesday night against Northwestern. Mills took a career-high 17 shots, knocking down an extremely efficient 12 of them, including a career high six three-pointers. Couple that with a perfect 9-for-9 showing at the free throw line, and it was an offensive clinic that almost singlehandedly willed the Terps to a win over Northwestern. Despite the abysmal season for Maryland, Mills just put the Big Ten on notice.
