Posts season high points in win Scruggs recorded 29 points (11-19 FG, 5-8 3PT, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, six assists and three steals in 34 minutes in the 91-88 win over Marquette on Sunday.
Impact Scruggs once again shined in a moment where he was needed most in the win Sunday. The guard continues to impress in his senior year and put together a strong performance from the arc and line. He did fare well enough from the floor, but still could improve his shot taking to further cement his role on the team. Scruggs will continue to post points however and add assists and steals where he can. Until he drops form, he will remain a very viable option for the Musketeers.

Fails to lead team to win Sunday Garica recorded 20 points (8-11 FG, 1-2 3PT, 3-3 FT) and four rebounds in 32 minutes in the 91-88 loss to Xavier on Sunday.
Impact Garica did as much as he could in the loss Sunday. The forward posted a season high 20 points and almost went perfect on the floor and did go 100 percent from the line. Garcia has proved that he can shine in crunch time and that he can consistently produce for the Golden Eagles. He only has more room to improve and will look to make a few leaps this year and help pull Marquette to the upper-half of the conference.

Wins with buzzer beater off bench Kunkel recorded 22 points (7-9 FG, 2-4 3PT, 6-6 FT), two rebounds and two steals in 17 minutes in the 91-88 win over Marquette on Sunday.
Impact Kunkel was the hero in the win Sunday. The guard had just got cleared via waiver two weeks ago and now has led Xavier to a nail biting win to keep them at the top of the Big East. Prior to the matchup, Kunkel had not quite got adjusted yet and failed to impress. However, after this performance, he will be hoping that he can continue the form and perhaps see some starting time sooner or later.

Logs 12 minutes in return Torrence (toe) scored three points on 1-of-2 shooting from the floor while also recording a rebound and an assist in 12 minutes of action Sunday against Xavier.
Impact Torrence had missed the prior three games with injury but returned in a limited fashion Sunday as his 12 minutes on the court were his second-lowest total of the season. The sophomore guard was a starter for the first three games of the new campaign but came off the bench for the next two before picking up a toe issue. It doesn't seem like Torrence will re-enter the starting lineup any time soon but will be a nice rotational player for Steve Wojciechowski's team moving forward.
