Cruises to second double-double Gillespie tallied 16 points (5-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 11 assists, three rebounds and three assists Wednesday in Villanova's 96-64 win over Marquette.

Impact Gillespie directed a prolific Villanova offense Wednesday, with his teammates' red-hot shooting -- the Wildcats converted 63 percent of their field-goal attempts and 59.1 percent of their three-point attempts on the night -- allowing him to hit double digits in assists for the second time this season. After going a disastrous 0-for-8 from downtown in Villanova's upset loss to St. John's on Feb. 3, Gillespie hasn't needed any time to rediscover his shooting touch. He's gone 4-for-9 on three-point attempts over the Wildcats' past two contests.

Nears season-high scoring total Robinson-Earl erupted for 27 points (10-11 FG, 5-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT) to go with eight rebounds, three steals and one assist Wednesday in Villanova's 99-64 trouncing of Marquette.

Impact On a night the Wildcats shot a blistering 63 percent from the field and 59.1 percent from three-point land, no player was hotter than Robinson-Earl. The 6-foot-9 center dominated Marquette inside and out, missing only one shot from two-point range and going perfect from distance to set a new career high in three-point buckets. Robinson-Earl shouldn't be counted on to be nearly this efficient from downtown on a regular basis; he had gone 4-for-20 on three-point attempts in his previous six games, and he's converting at a solid, but modest 34.7 percent rate for the season after the 5-for-5 showing.

Impact Antoine made his season debut in this one, logging a minute during junk time of Villanova's blowout win. It was his first appearance since Feb. 19 of last year against DePaul.
