Impact After four seasons of collegiate basketball, Bates is attempting to turn pro. He has decided to maintain college eligibility though, in case his mind changes or something else happens. After all, it is unclear if NBA teams are willing to draft the senior despite him averaging 11.6 points and 1.9 blocks across 26 games during his lone season at Butler. If able to be drafted, his selection would be projected to happen during the second round.
