Impact Rich had come off the bench prior to Monday. He had not played more than 18 minutes and scored more than 15 points (which he did in the opener). The 6-7 junior used his bulk against the smaller Redhawks. The Roadrunners may be in for a long season. Perhaps Rich will provide some reasons for optimism

Impact The 6-7 junior who transferred from Kansas State has been getting significant minutes off the Roadrunner bench. He has scored in double digits in all but one game and is converting 63.3 percent of his field goals on his way to 9.2 points. Rich does most of his damage in the paint and has not connected on any of his three 3-point attempts. He may in for a bump in playing time if he continues to score well in reserve minutes.

Joining UTSA Rich has announced his commitment to UTSA ahead of the 2025-26 season, Tobias Bass of The Athletic reports.

Impact Rich will make the move to UTSA this offseason following a two-year stint with Kansas State. The 6-foot-7 sophomore appeared in 13 games with the Wildcats this past season, averaging 5.9 points, 2.2 rebounds and 0.4 steals on 12.6 minutes per game. Rich will look to take on a more prominent role with the Roadrunners this coming fall.

Impact There was not much positive to glean from the Wildcats performance on Sunday but one bright spot was Rich, who provided a career-high nine rebounds in 16 minutes of action. The freshman did not play in the previous two games and has now seen action off the bench in seven of 11 contests, averaging a modest 5.4 points and 4.1 rebounds over 14 minutes per contest.

Career-high 13 points off bench Rich totaled 13 points (6-9 FG, 1-2 FT) and eight rebounds across 17 minutes during Wednesday's 100-56 victory over Central Arkansas.

Impact After playing a total of just 20 minutes in his first four games, Rich has played 40 minutes over the past two games and provided a career-best performance in a game that got out of hand early. The freshman forward is likely to continue with sporadic playing time moving forward although with more performances like this, he could continue to see his playing time evolve.
