Underwhelms in start Evans registered six points (2-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, four assists and three steals over 20 minutes during Friday's 92-67 victory over Tennessee State.

Impact Evans has received back-to-back opportunities to start in place of N'Faly Dante (hamstring), but he has delivered just 10 points on 25.0 percent shooting over that span. Racking up 18 rebounds is a silver lining, but Evans has yet to display an ability to step into a larger role. Nate Bittle (wrist) exiting Friday's contest early due to injury could test that notion even further moving forward.
