In line to return Saturday Evans (illness) is participating in warmups and looks set to return Saturday versus UC-Davis, Matt Prehm of 247Sports.com reports.
Impact Evans was deemed a game-time call for Saturday's contest, but his participation in warmups would seemingly suggest he's set to return following a one-game absence due to illness. Evans is coming off his best scoring contest of the season with 23 points and nine boards against USC on Dec. 2 and will aim to keep his strong start to 2025-26 going against what should be an overmatched opponent.
DECEMBER 13 • ROTOWIRE
Game-time decision Saturday Evans (illness) is a game-time decision for Saturday's game against UC Davis, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
Impact Evans will have had about a week to recover from the illness that took him out of Oregon's second conference game this season, as the Ducks got demolished at UCLA. UC Davis will provide a nice tune-up before two West Coast Conference teams, Portland and Gonzaga, play UO in mid-December. Davis, averaging 12.6 points and 7.1 rebounds this season, healthy should improve Oregon's chances of regrouping. If not, it looks like the Ducks would run with their two bigs being Sean Stewart and Nate Bittle.
DECEMBER 13 • ROTOWIRE
Ruled out with illness Evans (illness) isn't playing in Saturday's game versus UCLA, per James Crepea of The Oregonian.
Impact Evans is reportedly one of several Oregon players that is currently battling an illness. Sean Stewart should get the start at power forward in his absence, and Evans will look to make his return during the team's Dec. 13 game versus UC Davis.
DECEMBER 6 • ROTOWIRE
Not in starting unit Evans (undisclosed) isn't among the starting five ahead of Saturday's game versus UCLA, per the StatBroadcast Systems live stats feed.
Impact Evans has been a key piece for the Ducks early in the season and is coming off a career-best 23 points last time out against USC. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear he's in the starting unit for Saturday's contest, suggesting he may be in line to sit out the contest.
DECEMBER 6 • ROTOWIRE
Questionable vs. UCLA Evans is listed questionable ahead of Saturday's game against the Bruins.
Impact Evans pooped up on the injury report with an undisclosed injury and is questionable heading into the matchup. The junior forward has started every game for the Ducks and will be a big blow to Oregon should he miss the game. More news should surface closer to game time.

UCLA hosts Oregon after Evans' 23-point game

Oregon visits the UCLA Bruins after Kwame Evans Jr. scored 23 points in the Ducks' 82-77 loss to the USC Trojans

Leading scorer for Ducks Evans registered 23 points (6-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 9-11 FT), nine rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals in 36 minutes during Tuesday's 82-77 loss to USC.
Impact Evans' 23 points were a season-high as he continues to take his game to another level in 2025-26. His effort was for naught, as Oregon fell to USC in the Ducks' first Big Ten game, but Oregon has to like what it's getting out of its junior forward. He's more than doubled his scoring average from last season and has been more efficient in every shooting category. Meanwhile, he's been a force on the glass, pulling down 7.1 rebounds per game.

Struggles from the field in win Evans notched five points (1-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds and one assist in 23 minutes during Wednesday's 83-69 victory over South Dakota State.
Impact Evans had a tough time scoring the ball with five points on five shots, but he had his best day of the season on the glass with six boards. The 6-foot-10 forward will need to get a little more assertive as a rebounder, especially when Big Ten play rolls around, but for now, he's largely been a positive as Oregon has cruised to a 3-0 start.
NOVEMBER 13 • ROTOWIRE

The 6-foot-9 sophomore remains involved despite shifting to the bench in his second season with Oregon, averaging 6.2 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 15 minutes per game off the bench (12 games).
