Expected to return for next game
Head coach Dana Altman said on his postgame radio show Thursday that he expects Barthelemy (ankle) to return Thursday against USC, James Crepea of The Oregonian reports.
Impact
Barthelemy has missed the last two games with an ankle injury but seems he'll be able to return to the lineup at an opportune time with the Ducks set to open up conference play against USC and UCLA next week. The 6-1 senior started the first six games of the year before coming off the bench the next three while reportedly limited with an undisclosed injury. Barthelemy figures to slot in behind Jackson Shelstad and Brennan Rigsby as the Ducks' primary backcourt option off the bench when he returns.

Available Saturday
Barthelemy (undisclosed) is good to go Saturday against Michigan off the bench, James Crepea of The Oregonian reports.
Impact
While he wasn't included in the starting lineup, it appears Barthelemy is available for the Ducks in some capacity. The senior point guard is averaging 11.5 points, 3.0 boards, 2.2 assists and 1.2 steals over 27.2 minutes in his six games this season, and he should see plenty of action Saturday if his issue remains in check.

Barthelemy posted six points (2-12 FG, 2-7 3Pt), five rebounds and five assists over 34 minutes during Wednesday's 84-58 victory over UC Irvine.
Impact
Barthelemy equaled his season-high assist total, which he has logged four times across 2023 so far. Without either Will Richardson (hip) or Jermaine Couisnard (shoulder) available, the Ducks will rely on Barthelemy to distribute the ball as long as they are alive in this year's NIT.
