Impact Oduro has started every game so far this year for Providence, but will miss his first as him and his wife are expecting a baby this weekend. The dynamic center averages 15.9 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.5 blocks on 28.9 minutes per game, and will likely be missed in the paint by Providence against their conference opponent. His next chance to return, if able, will be Tuesday against Saint John's.

Impact Oduro is averaging 18.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and 1.0 steals across his last four games. He's averaging 6.8 free-throw attempts over this span as well, contributing to an already-sound scoring floor. His 62.2 percent true shooting is a top-100 mark in the nation among qualifiers.

Backpacks offense in near victory Oduro finished Wednesday's 61-57 loss to Seton Hall with 23 points (9-21 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 5-5 FT), three rebounds and two blocks in 34 minutes.

Impact Oduro posted a team-high 23 points, but his performance was overshadowed by the in-game ACL tear suffered by frontcourt mate Bryce Hopkins. Oduro has been excellent across three in-conference games thus far, averaging 17.3 points and 8.7 rebounds on 51.3 percent shooting from the field. Losing Hopkins subtracts an extremely high-usage player from Providence's rotation, so Oduro's minute share and offensive volume will increase, but it will be interesting to monitor how efficiently the Friars operate with Hopkins' gravitational presence removed from the equation.

Impact Oduro was inefficient, but he nonetheless contributed to Providence's well-balanced attack -- which featured all five starters hitting double-digit scoring. Ranking in the top-250 qualifiers nationwide in offensive rating and two-point field-goal percentage, Oduro is a bounce-back candidate Tuesday against Oklahoma.

Impact Oduro suffered an ankle injury last month and did not play in one of the exhibition games. It appears he will be good to go in the opener, however. The senior is set to have a big season for the Friars after averaging 15.6 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game last season with George Mason.
