Done for season with broken wrist Edwards was diagnosed Thursday with a fractured left wrist and will miss the remainder of the season.

Impact Edwards' loss is a major one for Syracuse, as he had started every game this season while averaging 12.0 points and 6.5 rebounds. Backup center Frank Anselem may be forced into a much larger role in his absence. John Bol Ajak could also be asked to move to center, and it's possible Bourama Sidibe could work his way back into the fold after surprisingly-little usage this season. It's still a tough blow for the Orange regardless, as Syracuse had been riding a four-game win streak to improve to 7-6 in the ACC and revitalize its NCAA Tournament hopes.

Impact The Orange dominated this game from start to finish and while several players stood out due to their performances, Edwards was efficient and was also able to make an impact on both ends of the court. He's been playing well of late and has averaged 14.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.6 blocks, 1.4 assists and 1.4 steals per game over his last eight appearances, scoring in double digits in all but one of those contests.
