Impact Akinjo transferred in from Georgetown during winter break last season, meaning h'ed be eligible to play the second semester in the 2020-21 season after sitting out the early portion of the schedule. Now he will be able to compete right away for the Wildcats. Akinjo averaged 13.4 points, 4.4 assists, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.0 steals in the seven games he played in last season.
