Impact You may not know much about Tilly, a 7-foot, German-born big man who transferred to Ohio State after three seasons with Santa Clara. A few more performances like this, however, and you'll have no choice but to familiarize yourself with the Buckeyes' starting center. He was mightily efficient as a scorer and one rebound shy of a double-double. Tilly looks to be the centerpiece of the Buckeyes' front court.

Impact Thornton picked up right where he left off for the Buckeyes as a dynamic scorer who does a little bit of everything. The star guard has only gotten better each year in Columbus, and after he averaged 17.7 points, 3.4 rebounds and 4.6 assists last season, he could truly blossom into one of the top players in the nation in 2025-2026. Of course, it'll help his case if Ohio State is relevant on a national scale, and after allowing 102 points against IU Indy, the jury is still out.
