Impact Dean had a productive night offensively, chipping in with 14 points and four assists, but his biggest contribution came on the defensive end where he swiped a season-high seven steals during the big upset over Iowa State. The junior guard has a history of being a menace defensively, with his average of 2.3 steals per contest actually representing a career low after averaging 2.5 and 3.4 during his two seasons with FIU prior to arriving in Stillwater.

Ousmane was a perfect 8-for-8 from the charity stripe to aid in his scoring effort. The senior center reached the 25-point mark for the second time this season, previously having scored 27 in early January. Following a 2-7 start in conference play, Ousmane has helped lead the Cowboys to a .500 record over the last eight games, averaging 13.0 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 1.3 blocks during that stretch.
