Last Night in College Basketball: BYU's Massive Comeback Powered by Freshman Star
Amare Bynum - Quietest outing yet Bynum provided two points (1-2 FG), one rebound and one block over 21 minutes before fouling out of Tuesday's 88-80 loss to Illinois.
Impact Bynum hasn't exactly stuffed the stat sheet for the Buckeyes, but the bench forward was averaging 8.1 points and 4.3 rebounds coming into Tuesday night's clash with the Illini. He was completely nullified in 21 minutes of action, notching a season-low two points and one rebound. He'll look to bounce back against West Virginia on Saturday.

Devin Royal - Inefficient 15 in loss Royal registered 15 points (4-15 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 6-6 FT), three rebounds and one assist over 37 minutes during Tuesday's 88-80 loss to Illinois.
Impact Royal's 15 points look good in the box score, but less so when you look at his shooting efficiency -- he needed 15 shots to hit 15 points, and was 1-of-6 from downtown. That lack of efficiency is part of why the Buckeyes fell to Illinois, but this looks like an outlier for Royal; he's posting 49/39/86 shooting splits this season.

Brandon Noel - Comes back down to earth Noel ended with five points (2-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt), three rebounds and one assist across 21 minutes during Tuesday's 88-80 loss to Illinois.
Impact After a 29-point explosion in the Buckeyes' last game against Northwestern, Noel predictably regressed to the mean and was limited to five points in the loss to Illinois. The senior forward, who averages 8.9 points and 5.1 rebounds thus far in 2025-26, looks extremely boom-or-bust on a nightly basis.

Ben Humrichous - Held scoreless vs. Buckeyes Humrichous ended Tuesday's 88-80 win over Ohio State with zero points (0-2 FG, 0-2 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists and one block over 20 minutes.
Impact Humrichous was held scoreless for the second time this season as Illinois toppled Ohio State on Tuesday night. The bench forward hasn't been all that assertive; in his past five outings, he's put up 2.4 shots per game. Fantasy-wise, the senior is hard to trust on a daily basis.
DECEMBER 10 • ROTOWIRE
Kylan Boswell - Held in check by Buckeyes Boswell totaled four points (1-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds and one assist in 31 minutes during Tuesday's 88-80 win over Ohio State.
Impact Boswell's four points were his lowest mark on the season, and a real outlier for the guard who averaged 17.0 points heading into the showdown with Ohio State. He was cold from the field, hitting just 25 percent of his shots. Still, his four shots were also season low, he's usually much more assertive, as he came into the night averaging 11.4 shots per game. Again, this looks like an outlier for the starting point guard.
DECEMBER 10 • ROTOWIRE
Zvonimir Ivisic - Good outing off the bench Ivisic finished with 13 points (4-6 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), eight rebounds and one block over 19 minutes during Tuesday's 88-80 victory over Ohio State.
Impact Ivisic had one of his better games of the season coming off the bench against Ohio State on Tuesday night. The junior forward was a scoring threat, notching 13 points on six shots (while burying two threes once again at 7-foot-2) while also providing production down low with eight boards and a blocked shot. Ivisic has been very solid off the bench for Illinois, and Tuesday night was one of his better showings.
