Kerwin Walton - Picks up offensive output Walton finished with 12 points (4-11 FG, 4-11 3Pt) and three rebounds across 31 minutes during Monday's 69-61 loss to Houston.
Impact Walton drained four from beyond the arc to finish with 12 points Monday. The senior guard had not scored and had only attempted four shots over the previous two games but topped 30 minutes for the first time since early November and was forced to step up his production with Texas Tech down to just six players. It was the fifth double-figure scoring output for Walton, who has started all 28 games this season while averaging 17.3 minutes and 4.9 points per contest.

Elijah Hawkins - Grinds out 14 points Hawkins finished Monday's 69-61 loss to Houston with 14 points (2-10 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 8-9 FT), two rebounds, five assists, one block and three steals over 38 minutes.
Impact Hawkins helped lead a short-handed Red Raider squad by matching JT Toppin for the team lead in points while adding a team-high five assists. Texas Tech was forced to play just six men during the loss and despite a poor shooting night for Hawkins, he still managed to grind out 14 points while adding three steals in a tough matchup against Houston point guard Milos Uzan. The point total was the most Hawkins has scored since pouring in 17 during Tech's last matchup with Houston on Feb. 1. He's shot just 32.2-percent while scoring 9.4 points in the seven games since, though he is also contributing 7.7 assists, 4.1 rebounds and 1.7 steals during that same stretch.

J'Wan Roberts - Produces with rugged effort Roberts registered 16 points (3-10 FG, 10-12 FT), seven rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal over 31 minutes during Monday's 69-61 win over Texas Tech.
Impact Roberts connected on just 3-of-10 shots but made up for it by getting to the charity stripe 12 times and converting on 10 to provide 16 points during Houston's big road win. Roberts added seven boards, three assists, ticked the box score with a steal and a block and helped to hold star-forward JT Toppin to just 14 points on 18 shot attempts. It was the seventh time this season Roberts has topped the 15-point barrier and the senior forward is averaging a career-high 11.4 points per game. However, after shooting no worse than 59.6-percent from the floor over the previous three seasons, that production has shrunk to a career-low 51.8-percent this season, including the most recent stretch of games in which he's shot 30-percent or worse in three of the last four contests.
